What it does

Timer, logging, streaks, and sync. Nothing else.

Session Tracking

Tap to start. Big timer counts your session. Log temperature, duration, and how you felt.

Apple Health Sync

Every session writes to Apple Health as a workout. Whoop, Oura, Garmin, and anything else that reads HealthKit will pick it up automatically.

Strava Sync

The only cold plunge and sauna tracker that syncs to Strava. Sessions post as activities with your share card attached.

Stats & Streaks

Consecutive day tracking. Miss a day? The app offers streak recovery so rest days don't reset your progress.

Why Degree Daddy

Most cold plunge and sauna tracker apps are missing something. Here's what Degree Daddy does differently.

Only cold plunge app with Strava sync

No other cold plunge or sauna tracking app posts sessions to Strava. Degree Daddy does. Your cold plunge and sauna sessions show up in your Strava feed alongside your runs, rides, and workouts.

iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch

One app across all your Apple devices. The iPad version has a 180pt timer you can read from across the room. The Apple Watch app works standalone without your phone.

Free during beta

Degree Daddy is free for all beta users. No subscriptions, no premium tier, no ads. Every feature is included from day one.

Privacy-first

Your data stays on your device and syncs via your personal iCloud account. No user accounts, no server-side database, no tracking. Strava and Apple Health connections are opt-in.

How long should I cold plunge?

Most beginners start with 1–2 minutes and work up to 3–5 minutes over time. Research suggests 11 minutes per week total (spread across multiple sessions) delivers significant benefits. Degree Daddy’s timer tracks your duration so you can build up gradually and see your progress over time.

What temperature should a cold plunge be?

Most cold plunge practitioners aim for 38–55°F (3–13°C). Beginners often start around 55°F and work down over time. Degree Daddy lets you log the exact temperature of every session so you can track your cold tolerance progression.

Traditional saunas typically range from 150–195°F (65–90°C), while infrared saunas run cooler at 120–150°F (49–65°C). Degree Daddy supports temperatures up to 220°F so you can log any type of sauna session.

Is there an Android version?

Degree Daddy is currently available on iPhone, iPad, and Apple Watch only. There is no Android version at this time. Sign up for updates at degreedaddy.com to be notified if that changes.
